Have you ever dreamed of getting up close and personal with the Royal Family?
Well, now is your chance because, Buckingham Palace is hiring a new sous chef. So, if you are a whiz in the kitchen then this could be the perfect job for you.
The website for the royal residence recently shared a job posting for a sous chef, and it sounds amazing.
According to the post, the job requires the chef to work five days a week and will be cooking for various members of the royal family.
While it doesn’t mention specific royal members, we presume you might get a chance to cook for Buckingham Palace’s regular residents, The Queen and Prince Philip.
Not only does the role require you to work at Buckingham Palace, travelling to other royal residences is required.
And, there is also an option to live in the palace with all meals provided, for a “salary adjustment”.
But, what does it take to nab this amazing job?
“You’re an experienced and qualified Chef with a background in premier catering, looking to take on a new challenge,” the job description states.
“You’ll have a thorough knowledge of the food industry and are trained in classical French cuisine.”
Does this mean the Queen’s favourite food is French? We think it might!
