Our Tuna Mac ’n’ Cheese is extra tasty and simple

TIP – You’ll find bagel crisps at some supermarkets and delicatessens. They can be replaced with crustini or any type of sea salt-flavoured crackers.

Step 1.

Cook pasta in a stockpot of boiling, salted water until tender. Drain. Return to same pot.

Step 2.

Meanwhile, melt butter in a large saucepan over a medium heat. Add flour. Cook, whisking, for 1 min. Gradually whisk in milk until smooth. Continue whisking for 5- 6 mins, or until sauce boils and thickens.

Step 3.

Add sauce to pasta with tuna, corn, cheese and chives. Stir over a low heat until hot.

Step 4.

Sprinkle with bagel crisps and chives. Serve with lemon wedges.
