Step 1.
Cook gnocchi according to the packet directions until tender. Drain.
Step 2.
Heat an oiled large frying pan over a high heat. Add bacon. Cook, stirring occasionally, for about 4 minutes, or until golden.
Step 3.
Add mushrooms. Cook, stirring, for a further 3 minutes, or until soft.
Step 4.
Add cream and ¼ cup water. Bring to a boil. Gently boil for 2 minutes. Remove from heat.
Step 5.
Add gnocchi and spinach. Season with salt and pepper. Stir to combine. Transfer to an ovenproof dish (8-cup capacity).
Step 6.
Sprinkle with cheese. Cook in a hot oven (200C) for 15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and golden brown.
