Fans of The West Wing have been left reeling after the cast of the popular television program reunited for dinner, captioning: ‘Talking reboot.’
The dinner, consisting of West Wing screenwriter Aaron Sorkin, and cast Bradley Whitford (Josh Lyman), Janel Moloney (Donna Moss) and Josh Malina (Will Bailey), left fans with hope the series may return.
Sorkin, the shows creator, said to Deadline in 2017 when asked if a reboot was a possibility: ‘You know I love that show and some day I’d love to revisit it, but it’s not going to happen right now.’
However, later that year, Sorkin told Hollywood Reporter he envisioned Sterling K. Brown as president in a West Wing reboot.
