Driver involved in fatal Boxing Day car crash had previous traffic offences and history of drug use

Jessica and Annabelle Falkholt remain in critical condition.

It’s been revealed that a driver in the horror crash that’s left a Home and Away star and her sister orphaned and fighting for life was known for previous traffic offences and drug use.

Craig Anthony Whitall, 50, who died in the Boxing Day crash along with Lars Falkholt and his wife Vivian had been jailed for driving while disqualified and was driving on P-plates, according to the Daily Telegraph.

The Sydney Morning Herald has also reported that Whitall was driving home from a methadone clinic when the accident occurred on the Princes Highway. 

Jessica, 28, and Annabelle Falkholt, 21, remain in a critical condition after being pulled from the wreck just moments before both vehicles burst into flames.
