When it comes to popular takeaway options, it’s safe to say that a crispy pizza or juicy burger is at the top of the list.
But what if you could have both?
To stave off the struggle of having to choose, the pizza overlords at Domino’s have released a new range of burger-inspired pizzas.
Yes, you read that right!

They’re flipping the script on these fast food favourites with the release of a Cheeseburger pizza. While it originally was added to the menu for a limited time only in 2021, it’s back with a score to settle once more.
Loaded with mouthwateringly seasoned 100% Aussie beef burger pieces, melty American cheese, tangy burger sauce, pickles, and gooey mozzarella cheese, and retailing from just $12 – it’s ‘BUN’- believable value.
The team at New Idea was lucky enough to taste test this bad boy, and while we were apprehensive about how delicious this curious combination could truly be, we were all left pleasantly surprised.
For Digital Managing Editor Elizabeth, she says she was surprised about how much her slice “tasted just like a burger.”
“Saucy, cheesy, and the right amount of meat to top it off!”
For self-described “burger connoisseur” Catie, she was “stunned” by how spot-on it tasted.
“It’s the ultimate pizza + burger baby. 10/10 will order again.”

While no new flavour will ever trump Senior Content Producer Madi’s usual pepperoni and olive pizza order, she recommends the Cheeseburger Pizza for those who have an affinity for pickles like the author of this article.
All in all, it’s a huge tick of approval from our team!
Domino’s Head of Product Development and Innovation Michael Treacy says the new burger-inspired range was all about bringing together “the best of both worlds” when it comes to takeaway options.
“[It’s] high-quality burger-inspired toppings, served on our iconic pizza base delivered piping hot and in one piece, straight to your door.
If you’d like to taste test for yourself, why not also try the brand new Southern Fried Chicken Tenders and hand-crumbled Onion Rings?
A Fried Chicken Pizza, Cheeseburger Meltzz, and more are also set to be added to the menu in the months to come.
