Speaking to 9Honey Celebrity, Jack spoke about why he keeps “bursting into tears randomly”.

And it turns out it’s because the 22-year-old singer has been bowled over by the public response to his return to TV, saying he has experienced “so much overwhelming love and kindness and positivity”.

Jack made his reality TV debut back in 2011, when he appeared on Australia’s Got Talent, when he was just 14 years old.

After winning the show, and then spending years in the US chasing his dreams, Jack returned to Australia and was leading a normal life – until he was launched back into the spotlight on The Voice

Jack’s rendition of Adele’s ‘Hello’ had all four coaches, Delta Goodrem, Boy George, Kelly Rowland and Guy Sebastian crying out for Jack to join their team and cemented his place in the contest – and has since been viewed on YouTube over a million times.

“It’s honestly been so crazy. I had no idea what to expect,” he says of the reaction to his performance. “It’s just been so amazing. Everyone’s comments have been so lovely,” Jack told 9Honey Celebrity.
