Just as fast as their season of Married At First Sight aired and ended on our TV screens, the 2019 cast are returning to their pre-fame lives.

WATCH: MAFS’ Mick settles back into farm after splitting from Jessika

But don’t be fooled by their hard hats and hi-vis – most of them are still hoping they can stretch their 15 minutes beyond the expiry date.

SAM BALL

The season bad boy who felt the wrath of a nation is back on the tools.

Believed to be working as a labourer on Sydney’s WestConnex freeway, the aspiring model, YouTube star and actor updates his fans with Instagram snaps from the work site between filtered selfies, red carpet snaps and gym posts.

On April 1 he shared a photo of himself at work captioned, “On the tools being a tool.”

ELIZABETH SOBINOFF

While Lizzie is still trying to pursue a career as an influencer after signing with an agency last month, she wasted no time returning to her day job after filming MAFS.

The fan favourite loves her job at Zamel’s jewellers at Westfield Hornsby in Sydney’s north, and regularly shares posts about her sparkly wears from the retailer.

“Now one of my favourite things in the world is jewellery, it makes me unbelievably happy, it is fair to say I’m obsessed,” she told her Instagram followers in April.

MICK GOULD

A plasterer by trade, Mick is back in both his workplaces.

Viewers will remember that the lovable larrikin also runs his own farm in Queensland’s Gympie.

After wrapping the series, a friend of the tradie told Daily Mail, “He is feeling relieved that he can move on from the show.”

HEIDI LATCHAM

After finishing up at Star 106.3 FM, radio host Heidi returning to her hometown, the Sunshine Coast to begin her breakfast radio gig with 91.9 Sea FM.

“I get to do my dream job in my dream town! I plan on having sand in my hair every day,” she said, after failing to find her soulmate on the TV social experiment.

MIKE GUNNER

The Gold Coast-based electrician is reportedly back doing what he did pre-fame, however the controversial castmember appears to have taken some inspiration from his ex-wife Heidi post-MAFS.

“Can one man, in one podcast, change the world? Maybe. Maybe not. But I’d like to find out,” Mike told the Courier Mail of his side project, Stick To Your Knitting.

Mike announced his new career aspirations via his Instagram account last month, telling his followers in a video, “Hey, guys. It’s Mike here, and a felt like doing a little podcasting, and do you know what? I need some questions.”

So far, it’s been deemed a flop.

NIC JOVANOVIC

Just like Mike, Nic‘s a qualified electrician.

However Nic went back to his day job full-time after he wrapped MAFS

On the side, he’s very serious about CrossFit, and regularly updates his Instagram followers with his efforts in the gym.

“Life is short so I feel like you should always be happy!” he said of his work/life balance.

So what are some of your other MAFS faves up to?

Husband and wife duo Martha Kalifatidis and Michael Brunelli couldn’t be more different in their approach to post-MAFS life.

Martha has quit her job as a freelance makeup artist to work on her social media influencer career, while Michael has returned to work as a primary school teacher.

Mark Scrivens and his ex-wife Ning Surasiang have quietly gone back to their careers.

Mother-of-three Ning was spotted working at Townsville’s JustCuts, where she worked prior to the show, while former armed serviceman, Mark, is once again practicing as a personal trainer.

As for Jessika Power and Ines Basic, they’re looking for fame beyond the show.

Jess has relocated from Perth to the Gold Coast where she’s trying her luck as a socialite and social media influencer. She no longer works as an office assistant.

As for Ines, she’s working on her own clothing line and spruiking products via her Instagram account.
