Fans have finally got answers over that editing fail during Married At First Sight‘s reunion dinner earlier this month.

Dan Webb raised eyebrows during the finale when he appeared to talk into his shirt at the dinner table – and he’s just confirmed that yes, words were exchanged between himself and his shirt.
The 35-year-old car salesman told a fan during an Instagram Q&A session on Monday that he had an urgent message for producers, hence the odd shirt chat.
“I was like, ‘Mayday, mayday. Quick, get me out of here because it’s full of negativity!'” he joked, reenacting the moment he whispered into the microphone, which was hidden in his collar.
“Nah, what I actually said was, ‘I’ve gotta go to the toilet. I’m busting!'”
At the time, fans lit up social media after noticing the show’s cameras accidentally caught the toilet request.
“Anyone else see Dan whispering into his microphone when Jules was talking to Mel about being a bridesmaid?” tweeted one hilarious viewer.
