Lisa Wilkinson and Karl Stefanovic were once the breakfast show co-hosts Australia loved to wake up to, but now the pair are locked in a bitter feud.

Since leaving Channel Nine’s Today show in 2017 because of a pay dispute, Lisa, 59, has moved on to join the panel of hosts on Channel Ten’s The Project.
And she’s not up for sharing her seat with anyone – especially not her ex colleague, Karl.
In a recent interview with an Australian publication, the mother-of-three took a vicious swipe at her former Today show co-host, saying the desk is “full”.
“I think we’re full at the inn at the moment,” she told the publication.
“He might have to take a number.”
Since leaving the Today show last year after a rumoured sacking when his personal life began to affect ratings, Karl, 44, has worked out his contract with the Nine Network, and the new season of This Time Next Year is due to air soon.
After avoiding Lisa on the Logies red carpet, Karl also came under fire when Gold-Logie winner Tom Gleeson also slammed the star in his opening speech.
“I think the reason they ask you to do the opening is because Channel Nine has run out of stars,” Tom began.
“They don’t have any left. They have a new rule on breakfast TV too if you are too entertaining they fire you. Am I right Karl. Is Karl here. Where is Karl?”
It’s at this point the Hard Chat show host went in for the attack, but not before slamming Channel Nine reality TV show Married At First Sight.
“Congratulations to Married At First Sight by the way for their monster ratings. Give them a huge round of applause.
“Channel Nine were happy to cash in on your ratings by showing off your tacky weddings and fired Karl Stefanovic for having one!”
