As a professional LEGO builder, Ryan ‘The Brickman‘ McNaught has turned his childhood passion into a career. Forming an affinity for LEGO at the tender age of five, it wasn’t until he became a father of twins in 2008 that he rekindled his craft.

Formerly working as a Chief Information Officer, his lack of fulfillment in the corporate sphere led him to a career at LEGO, where his Brickman business was conceived in 2010.
Now employing a team of passionate craftspeople, the LEGO-certified builder and his staff are responsible for some of the world’s most detailed and challenging LEGO constructions.

And, with season six of LEGO Masters on our television screens currently, it appears as if The Brickman is living his best life.
Dad of two 16-year-old sons, Riley and Alexander, and married partner to his wife Tracy, the LEGO Masters judge told our sister publication The Australian Women’s Weekly that he loves making people smile in his role.
It is this joy-giving quality that charmed his now-wife Tracy Britten. Partners of eight years, the pair met on a dating app after the separation of their respective marriages.
“I was looking for love, for a partner. It’s hard to put yourself out there, and I remember joking with some mates who’d gone through the same thing about how times have changed…putting yourself out there online romantically is really hard, but Tracy made it very easy,” he shared in March 2023.
According to Tracy, Ryan’s sense of humour was one of his charming qualities. This is showcased frequently on his Instagram page where his airport travel-welcoming duties leave his audience in stitches.
The pair also delight in running marathons, in which they aspire to run a marathon on every continent. Thus far their running adventures have taken them to Russia, the Falkland Islands, and even North Korea.
After spending several years together, the couple tied the knot in 2022 in Las Vegas. After popping the question on an overseas trip, a split-second decision led to their marriage at one of the city’s infamous wedding chapels.
“It was so much fun, just perfect. We had a great time,” Tracy also shared.
