Monday evening marked a very special milestone for Home and Away‘s Emily Symons.
The 7pm episode marked 30 years since her character Marilyn arrived in Summer Bay, becoming an instant fan favourite.
And while three decades in any job is a monumental achievement, fans want to commend the 49-year-old for not looking a day over her 30 years on the Aussie soap!
“Does anyone else think she doesn’t age a day,” commented one fan, alongside a slideshow of photos celebrating Emily on the show’s official Instagram page.
“It was 30 years ago today when Marilyn arrived in Summer Bay!” the post was captioned.
“And getting younger looking day by day! Love her,” another wrote alongside the series of throwback snaps.
Another celebrated the actress’ ageless beauty and her character’s lovable personality.
“Marilyn is such a lovely genuine lady, everyone needs a friend like her. She didn’t age either! So pretty.”
And it wasn’t just fans getting in on the action. Emily’s on-screen foster daughter Olivia Deeble wrote a sweet tribute on her Instagram page.
“30 years @emilysymons_ has been blessing our screens on @homeandaway I’m so appreciative I got to spend a few of those years with you.
“I’ve learnt and grown so much because of you. Marilyn Chambers has stolen all of our hearts and will continue to do so. Congratulations again.”
