Their characters famously enjoyed a secret tryst on Home and Away.
But there didn’t appear to be any love lost between co-stars Sophie Dillman and Patrick O’Connor as they argued at the set of Summer Bay on April. 9.
The pair were snapped in character as they filmed scenes at Sydney’s iconic Palm Beach.
Sophie – who plays Ziggy in the hit Channel 7 soap, wore her blonde hair loose for the showdown and teamed a voluminous yellow top with a tight white mini-skirt.
At one point she could be seen pointing animatedly at her co-star.
Patrick – who plays Dean – meanwhile, wore a red, sleeveless hoodie and shorts.
Recent storylines have been dramatic for both characters – with Ziggy’s world on the verge of collapse after the discovery of her husband Brody’s affair with Simone.
Meanwhile, Dean’s addiction to sleeping pills is putting his life on the line.
‘Dean’s been behaving more and more strangely lately,’ Patrick told New Idea, of his character’s downward spiral.
‘He’s extremely confused and doing things that he’s not even aware of. It’s very frightening for him and also for those around him.’
