Cortnee and her partner, Charlotte, are relatively quiet about their relationship but they do love to share photos together to their Instagrams.
Cortnee has talked about her relationship with Charlotte in an interview with Optus Sport and discusses how they never felt the need to ‘come out’.
“We kind of looked at it like we shouldn’t have to do that, like why do we have to ‘announce’ that we’re together, and sit down with the parents and all that stuff?” Cortnee told Optus Sport.
“We didn’t do any of that, which was cool, and I think it was the best way for us to approach it. It helps obviously that we’ve got families that are very accepting.”

Who is Charlotte Mclean?
Charlotte Mclean is an up-and-comer on the Young Matildas squad. She and Cortnee both play for Sydney FC and the two of them play defence positions. Charlotte is the central defender and Cortnee is a right-back and a winger.
Charlotte was born on March 1, 2000 making her just 23 years old!
Charlotte is from Epping, NSW. She is currently studying Economics and Industrial Relations at The University of Sydney Business School.
Charlotte herself is also a soccer star, having won the NPL Women’s Challenge Cup with Sydney University in 2019 and is titled one of the best defenders in the Liberty A-League.
How long have Cortnee Vine and Charlotte Mclean been dating?
The two went public with their relationship in 2019 however, their first picture together was in 2018 when Cortnee posted a picture with Charlotte at a Sydney University event.
The picture was posted on September 20, 2018, and was captioned “Presentation night 2018 💛💙 #uptheuni”. At this time, it was assumed that the two were just friends.
It has now been confirmed through an Instagram post that the two started dating on January 8, 2019.
A few months later, in January 2019, Cortnee posted another image of the two together… making their relationship known.
The picture shows the couple cuddling up to each other at the 2019 Laneway Festival and was captioned, “Laneway wit my #1 💛.”
Charlotte commented on the post, “Hehehe aw I love youu 💛💛.”
From this point, the couple continued to post many pictures together on Instagram and often commented cute messages on each others posts.
In March 2019, Cortnee posted this photo to her Instagram of her and Charlotte with the most ADORABLE caption:
“Appreciation post to my human 💛 Char, thank you for bringing nothing but joy into my life. You’ve made my life better and continue to make it better each and everyday. In July 2019, Cortnee posted this image of the two with the caption, “See that smile, that smiles my favourite @Charlotte.mclean1 You make me so god damn happy 😁💛.”
This photo was from an event for GQ where the couple made their red carpet debut… this marked their first official outing together as a couple.
Between now and then, both Cortnee and Charlotte have continued to shared many photos together, all loved-up.
In March 2023, Cortnee told Optus Sport that she has been living with Charlotte and her family, making it much easier for her being away from her own family after not seeing them for more than 12 months.
