There’s more royal intrigue afoot, with fans of the British monarchy in a right royal tizz over Princess Beatrice’s interactions with Her Majesty the Queen at a recent family get-together.

When the royals converged on Easter Sunday, all eyes were on the frosty moments between formerly close brothers Prince William and Prince Harry. But obscured by that drama was an interesting moment between the Queen and Beatrice, that is now getting plenty of attention online.
With the monarch earning curtsies or bows from the Duchess of Cambridge, the Tindalls, Peter and Autumn Phillips, Princess Anne, and the Duke of York, Princess Beatrice was the odd one out – only offering a polite smile.
While theories have run rampant – from obscure ranking considerations, to wild speculation of a feud, the truth is far more mundane – but kind of fascinating at the same time.
Royal guru Rob Robson confirms that Beatrice was only required to curtsy to the Queen on their ‘first meeting of the day’, and the encounter caught of camera happened after that.
