IT’S HERE!
Calling all Downton Abbey fans! The official trailer for the Downton Abbey movie is here and the Crawley family have entered into a whole new era; the roaring ’20s!
The popular British TV series ended it’s run in 2015, however, Michelle Dockery (A.K.A Lady Mary) delighted fans back in July 2018 when she announced that the entire cast would be returning to Highclere Castle, for a movie.
After six seasons we left the Crawley family in 1926, and as the trailer reveals, we pick up their story just one year later, in 1927.
The two and half minute trailer gives us a delightful taste of the entire family and their houseful of servants preparing for the arrival of two very special guests; King George V and Queen Mary.
It’s safe to say that we are all jittery with anticipation for this movie to hit theatres September 12!
