On Sunday night’s episode of Married At First Sight during the commitment ceremony Heidi and Mike reveal the reason behind their explosive fight.
Sitting on the couch, Heidi calls Mike out for being an inconsiderate person after he used all the clean towels.
“He uses all the towel and outs them on the ground. Just inconsideration…”
“Do you think he’s inconsiderate?” interjects John.
“Yes,” says Heidi without a second’s thought.
Mike is now having second thoughts about moving in with Heidi after her comment made him feel worthless.
“It makes me feel worthless…. I want to throw my hands in the air, it might be too hard… I’m having second thoughts,” he admits.
Expert John feels the issue is bigger than towels, asking Heidi if it’s a fear of commitment that’s seeing her focus on small things to avoid facing the bigger issues – she agrees.
“When you get scared, rather than say I’m feeling scared you point out things that are wrong,” says John.
Heidi nods and agrees. Both choose to stay after committing to change their behaviour.
“I’m gonna pick up my behaviour and pick up the towels,” says Mike.
