The arrival of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s first child could spell more good news for the couple, with reports his arrival will heal their ‘royal rift‘ with the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge.
WATCH Harry announce the birth of his new baby.
Meghan gave birth to a baby boy, on Monday, May 6 at 5.26am local time, with the couple announcing the birth later that day at a press conference where Prince Harry couldn’t contain his excitement at becoming a new dad.
“I’m very excited to announced that Meghan. and myself had a baby boy early this morning, a very healthy boy. Mother and baby are doing incredibly well. It’s been the most amazing experience I could ever have possibly imagined,” a beaming Harry announced in Windsor.

With reports of an ongoing feud between the Meghan and Harry, and Kate and William, the arrival of Baby Sussex could help the royals reconcile.
Kate and William have already reached out, and said in a post on their Kensington Palace Instagram account that they were “delighted with the news” of the birth of Baby Sussex.
“The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are delighted with the news of the birth of The Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s son today,” the caption reads, “And look forward to meeting the latest addition to the family.”
William and Kate’s announcement follows a host of celebrities who posted their messages of congratulations to the royal couple on their Twitter accounts.
It is hoped that the arrival of Baby Sussex will be the start of a new era for the Sussexes and the Cambridges where they can reconnect over the joy of family.
William and Kate’s children George, 5, Charlotte, 3, and Louis, 1, will be the perfect playmates for their new cousin, whose name is still unknown.
It’s unlikely the baby’s name will be announced for a couple more days, with Harry revealing the couple would present their baby to the world in two days time, so we’ll know more then!
