Queen Elizabeth followed her busy week at Royal Ascot by attending another sporting event – the Royal Windsor Cup Final on Sunday.

The polo event, which is historically attended by Her Royal Highness, Queen Elizabeth, was held at the Guards Polo Club, Windsor Great Park, Egham, Surrey.
Queen Elizabeth, 93, looked resplendent in a pretty pink coat and floral dress as she attended the polo match.
The Queen accessorised her bright look with a matching hat which was decorated with flowers and feathers on the front at the event, which was the sixth time in seven days she had performed royal duties.

She also wore her trademark pearl necklace and earrings, as well as a silver brooch.
To finish her ensemble the Queen added a pair of classic white gloves.

The British Monarch traditionally presents the trophy to the winning team at the end of the competitive event at the Guards Polo Club, Windsor Great Park.

Ever the professional, the Queen even retained her composure as she was hit in the face by a rogue black scarf as she descended from the royal viewing box.
British actress Gillian Anderson, however, didn’t keep her cool and watched the incident unfold with visible horror.

With Royal Ascot over for another year, let’s hope that Her Majesty can now take some well earned rest after what is becoming a busy summer for the royal family.
