Since meeting her (literal) Prince Charming in a fairytale brought to life almost twenty years ago, Crown Princess Mary of Denmark has proven herself to be one of the world’s most stylish royals.
And the mother-of-four showed no signs of sartorial slacking as she stepped out for an awards show in Copenhagen wearing an elegant midi dress by Dolce & Gabbana.

Mary, 47, looked every inch a Princess as she arrived at the national Opera by boat with a timeless beige-grey coat draped over her shoulders.
The Australian-born wife of Prince Frederik paired her ensemble with a pair of nude point-toed stilettos and tucked a matching clutch under her arm.

Glamorous Mary wore her hair in her trademark bouncy blowdry, a style also favoured by the Duchess of Cambridge.
She kept her makeup to a minimum with a gentle brown smokey eye and an understated slick of nude lipstick.
Mary’s date for the evening was her youngest son Prince Vincent who looked smart in a navy blazer, white shirt and navy slacks.

The future Queen consort was on hand to present a series of EliteForsk prizes at the Ministry of Education and Research’s annual awards which recognise Danish pioneers in their field.
