The visit will begin in Cape Town and ends in Johannesburg. The tour will span four countries and an entourage of 16 will be joining the royals, including Archie’s nanny and Meghan’s hairdresser.
The itinerary also revealed that Harry and Meghan will spend a significant amount of time apart on the tour, with the former actress staying in South Africa and Harry making solo stops in Botswana, Malawi, Angola and Huambo in central Angola to see the legacy of his mother’s campaign against landmines.
“The Duke is especially proud to continue the legacy left by his mother with her work in Angola as he joins Halo Trust again in an effort to rid the world of landmines,” read the Instagram post.
A royal source told HELLO! UK that the schedule was compiled so that Harry and Meghan could spend bathtime and bedtime with their son each night.
“The couple hope to include Archie at some point in the programme, but it’s difficult to schedule,” the source told HELLO! UK. “He’s five months old. But they hope to.”
