Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, and Queen Elizabeth were spotted wearing matching outfits just hours after she joined Her Majesty on the balcony to observe a Remembrance Day silence to mark 100 years since the end of WW1.

Earlier in the day, the Queen was joined by her daughter-in-law Camilla, and the Duchess of Cambridge, as they paid their respects to the soldiers who fought in the First World War.

Many noticed that the Queen had Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, standing on the opposite balcony.

Despite many claiming the decision could be more sinister, there was a rather simple explanation.

The balconies of each window are small, it’s nearly impossible to fit more than three or four women on each — and although Meghan didn’t join her family members, she was given a very important position of her own.

During the ceremony, which honours those who lost their lives in World War I, she watched with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier’s wife Elke Budenbender.
