While on Royal Tour alongside husband Prince Harry, the Duchess of Sussex decided to break one of Her Majesty’s cardinal rules and ditch her nude stockings.
But, now that the royal is back in London, and attending events alongside Queen Elizabeth, she’s had to bust out the tights – and they’re causing a vibrant debate online.
Stepping out for a Remembrance Day service, Meghan’s “glaring” hosiery ignited royal fans.
The duchess looked chic in a Stella McCartney black coat dress, which hid her growing baby bump under a large waist bow.
Meghan opted to style her hair behind her ears, and accessorised with a black clutch bag and black heels.
But royal fashion fans couldn’t help but notice that one part of her outfit seemed to be detracting from the rest.
“Meghan re-wearing her fab Stella McCartney coat from Cardiff visit, but I cannot get over the glare of these tights,” one fan wrote on Twitter.
Alongside a face-palm emoji, another commented: “Meghan’s tights.”
Noticing splashes of rain, a third asked: “What has happened to #MeghanMarkle tights? Has she spilt her wine?”
