John Travolta has been accused of sexual battery by a 21-year-old male masseur, according to police documents.
The incident reportedly happened at the LaQuinta Hotel in Palm Springs, California, on February 15, 2000. The spa had reportedly stayed open until 1:30am for the Hollywood heavyweight, 63, who had requested a ‘deep body massage.’
According to the police report, the masseur asked ‘what area of the body he wanted’ to concentrate on, and Travolta replied ‘the buttocks.’
The masseur then claims that Travolta repeatedly removed his towel, ‘exposing’ his bare buttocks.’
The report then goes on to describe that after Travolta was given a citrus body scrub, the actor told the masseur ‘he was very attractive and that he had gotten him ‘excited.’
Travolta then allegedly asked the masseur to join him in the spa’s steam room, ‘so he wouldn’t be alone’. The masseur reportedly agreed.
The report then describes the star allegedly dropping his towel, revealing he was completely naked underneath, and asked to demonstrate his own massage techniques on the masseur.
Allegedly, as the man lay on his stomach, ‘Travolta reached under his towel and began to rub his inner thigh.’
Travolta then reportedly ‘began rubbing [the masseur’s] bare buttocks as well as in the groove between.’
The man claimed he was uncomfortable, so he left the steam room to shower, but was followed by Travolta, who asked if he wanted his back ‘soaked up.’
The man returned to Travolta’s room to pack up his massage table and said Travolta asked him suggestively ‘if he had ever had his ***hole licked by another man.’
The masseur reported the alleged incident to Palm Springs Sheriff’s Department, who sent an officer to the scene. The office concluded in the report that ‘he told me he made no advances toward Travolta, and didn’t say anything to lead him on. Travolta had already checked out of the hotel, so I was unable to speak with him regarding this case.’
The officer confirmed the masseur ‘desires prosecution against Travolta for sexual battery,’ but noted the ‘details do not meet the elements of battery … or sexual battery.’
No charges were filed. However, Travolta’s ex manager Jonathan Krane, who died in August 2016, allegedly corroborated the account in private diaries viewed by RadarOnline.
