Seven months on from her release from prison, Gypsy Rose Blanchard has announced she is pregnant with her first child.
Gypsy, who served a 10-year sentence for her role in the 2015 murder of her mother Clauddine ‘Dee Dee’ Blanchard, has gained millions of followers since her December release.
She announced the happy news on Wednesday, telling fans she and boyfriend Ken Urker were super excited to be parents.
“I am happy to announce that I am 11 weeks pregnant,” Gypsy, 32, said on Youtube.
“I know that there’s going to be people that feel like I’m not ready to be a mother. But I don’t know if anyone is ever ready.

“All that matters is making sure I’m healthy, the baby is healthy and we are moving forward in a positive way.”
Gypsy, who is due in January 2025, said the news came as a complete shock to the couple after she was recently told by doctors that she’d have to take fertility medication as she wasn’t ovulating properly.
“This was not planned at all, it was completely unexpected,” she said. “But we’re both very excited to take on this new journey of parenthood.”
She says she feels blessed to not have experienced “major morning sickness” but has felt the “crazy mood swings” – much to the patience of her new partner Ken.

“Poor Ken – if he breathes wrong, I’m just like, ‘Arghhh,” she said, laughing. “He’s been very gracious about it…pregnancy is not easy.”
The news comes just three months after Gypsy filed for divorce from her husband Ryan Scott Anderson. Divorce proceedings are still ongoing for the former couple who met while Gypsy was behind bars.
Gypsy’s case gained international notoriety after multiple docuseries and documentaries detailed the relationship she had with her mother Dee Dee.
Her mother allegedly had Munchausen Syndrome by Proxy. She falsely convinced Gypsy that she suffered from numerous medical conditions that required surgery and medication, often forcing her to fake serious illnesses.

In June 2015, Gypsy, then 23, arranged for her then-boyfriend Nicholas Godejohn to stab Dee Dee to death. She was convicted of second-degree murder in 2016.
Godejohn was sentenced to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
Now with a fresh start ahead of her, Gypsy says she’s feeling happier than ever.
“All the things I wanted in a mother I want to give to this baby,” Gypsy said.
“It’s an amazing feeling when your whole world shifts and suddenly it’s not about you. It’s about the tiny little life that’s yours to protect, to love, to take care of and all the things that I wish I could have had when I was little.
This is a blessing: I found my freedom in a way that I never expected.”
She says she will continue to share her pregnancy journey with her fans.
