Anthony Mundine is the second celebrity to sensationally quit this year’s season of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!
The renowned boxer walked from the show after completing the Viper Room challenge, allegedly forcing production to suspend voting for the 42-year-old.
Mundine has since taken to Facebook to share the news.
‘I miss my family and feel like I have accomplished everything I wanted to do.’ he wrote. ‘I did all but one of the trials (which I couldn’t complete because of my foot).’
‘Went out with a bang on an epic trial that you will see tonight!’ he finished.
The hit Channel 10 show has not seen a walkout in the past three seasons, but Mundine makes this seasons second, following the sensational exit of tennis star Bernard Tomic.
Mundine has so far been one of the most controversial contestant on the series.
Nine celebrities remain in the jungle — Tiffany Darwish, Kerry Armstrong, Simone Holtznagel, Peter Rowsthorn, Jackie Gillies, Fiona O’Loughlin, Josh Gibson, Shannon Noll and Danny Green.
