Heidi is left devastated after Mike goes behind her back and seeks Jess out. The couple had agreed to talk to her together after Jessika’s girls’ night revelation that Mike pressured her into having sex with Mick.
But Mike was having none of that, pursuing Jess soon after she and Mick arrived at the dinner party.
It all started well when the couple agreed they would talk to Jess to see if she misunderstood what Mike had said to her.
“Tonight Mike and I are going in as a team,” Heidi says positively. Little does she realise, Mike doesn’t think in terms of teams.
So when she sees Mike and Jess talking mere moments after Jess arrived, she is furious.
“How did this start because I just saw you walk over here,” Heidi says to Mike.
“I didn’t know we were going to talk about this.” Mike says in his defence.
“I feel so angry because I did not want him to talk to Jess without me,” Heidi explains. “We talked about this together for hours!”
However Mike fails to see the error of his ways. “I don’t think I’ve done anything to betray her trust.” Mike says but the experts disagree.
“Mike’s had an agreement with Heidi and he’s broken it – again!” relationship expert John Aitken says. “How many times does she have to say to him ‘we have to be a team, stick to the boundaries!
“All [Mike] had to do was empathise with Heidi and get her point but that’s one of Mike’s real challenges in life, seeing someone else’s point of view,” John goes on to say.
But being called out is too much for Mike and he basically tells Heidi he’s over her drama. “Know this I didn’t come here for all this drama and this bullsh*t,” Mike says. To which she replies “I don’t trust you anymore. We had a plan and you f*cked the plan.”
As Heidi is consoled by Jules, she reveals that she and Mike are done. “I don’t think that he thinks he’s done anything wrong,” Heidi reveals having more insight into Mike than he has into her. “It’s the final straw,” she says.
