They’ve sparked pregnancy rumours since falling head over heels for each other on Married At First Sight, but Cameron Merchant and Jules Robinson are already getting parental practice in by offering advice to their younger co-star Jessika Power.
In an interview with 9’s spin off Talking Married, Cam revealed he warned Jess – one of this season’s most controversial and divisive brides – that her bad behaviour and adulterous antics could result in a vicious public backlash.
According to the former cricket pro and his new fiancée, they had multiple sit downs with Jessika to raise these concerns but the 27-year-old chose to ignore their words of caution.

“We were both there to say, ‘Hun – I know what’s happening with this situation right now. I’m actually worried about your thoughts after [the show] airs and two million people seeing your actions,” Cam remembered.
He further revealed he and Jules had begged the office administrator to consider her choices and the consequences her on-screen cheating might have regarding her mental health.
Asked by the audience if Jess had taken their guidance into consideration, Cam bluntly replied: “Absolutely not.”
Jessika embarked on an adulterous affair with intruder groom Dan Webb despite being married to Queensland farmer Mick Gould – but not before she tried her hand by propositioning co-star Nic Jovanovic as well.
Jess recently revealed she is still in a relationship with Dan.
She moved to the Gold Coast three weeks ago to be closer to him and his five-year-old son.
Cam and Jules have made no secret of their dislike towards Jessika in the past, flatly telling WHO magazine the blonde bombshell had faked rumours of her own pregnancy to “drum up” publicity.
