In a surprising turn of events, Married At First Sights ex-Virgin Matthew Bennet has debuted his new girlfriend, wrestler Annabelle, after his bitter split with TV ‘wife’ Lauren Huntriss.

Matthew went on 96.9’s Fitzy and Wippa Thursday morning to debut his new love Annabelle, as well as making the shocking claim that Lauren has been sending him abusive text messages since their split.
Now fellow MAFS contestant Melissa Lucarelli (who has been paired with Dino on this seasons’ Married At First Sight) has revealed how Lauren is coping with the news that her TV ‘husband’ has moved on.
Speaking with Yahoo Lifestyle, Melissa says that close friend Loz is felling ‘pretty hurt’ and that Loz and Matt’s breakup is starting to get “really messy”.
Melissa told the publication: “She was saying she was pretty hurt by it but she’s doing okay, so that’s good.”
Melissa admitted to Yahoo Lifestyle that Matthew had not told her about his new relationship: “That was a bit crazy, that was so unexpected.”
Melissa, who is friends with both her fellow contestants, only wants the best for her friends, telling the publication: “They’re both such awesome people and I hope that it all goes okay.”
On Thursday the Matthew gave an open interview with Fitzy and Wippa in which he alleges Loz has sent him abusive texts and confessed that he regrets confiding in the boys around the dinner table about his dwindling feelings for Lauren.
“It wasn’t the right thing to come out. I’ve not been in that position before. I just said it.”
As for why he lost the spark with ‘wife’ Loz, Matt answered: “The more time we spent together – the more true colours I saw. People didn’t see it.
“There were a lot of factors. I can’t say.”
Lauren has lashed out at Matt since the show aired, even saying during an interview that Matt believed he was an alien, heavily insinuating that her TV husband actually believed this of himself.
Addressing the alien comment, Matt said: “That was a point where I was trusting and opening up to Lauren. I felt like I was a different species. It was a metaphor. It was how I was illustrating my depression. Little did I know that Lauren doesn’t know what a metaphor is.”
“There is no regret about doing the show. There’s regret about certain actions and the way certain people have behaved since the show. What’s gone on behind the scenes. I don’t regret doing it.”
“I’ve grown up and I’m doing things now that I wouldn’t do.”
In one of the more explosive moments during his revealing interview with Fitzy and Wippa, Matt claimed that Lauren has contacted him non-stop since filming wrapped, and the messages haven’t been friendly.
“This gets a little touchy. There’s been relentless contact. I’ve asked her to stop.”
Matt continued: “The context of the message – to put it bluntly – it’s abuse.”
Matt, who seems absolutely smitten with his new girlfriend, insists that Lauren’s messages have nothing to do with his new found love, telling the radio hosts: “No it’s been happening since before then!”
