For a brief moment Married At First Sight viewers thought Matthew and Lauren were a sweet couple that were destined to go the distance, but that all came to a screeching halt during Wednesday night’s episode when Matthew admitted he was not attracted to his wife.

Matthew shocked his fellow grooms around the dinner table when he revealed that he was not attracted to his wife, to make matters worse, Lauren was sitting just down the table and heard the shock confession.
Appearing on 9Honey’s Talking Married, the 29-year-old reflected on how he handled the situation and showed remorse over his actions.
“That’s not the way anyone should find out about that,” Matthew told the panel.
Matthew continued “This is completely new territory for me, I’ve never been in a relationship before,”
“Then I’m isolated with a woman and can’t talk to anyone, so then I get a chance to vent and talk with the guys…,” that’s when Matthew trailed off by way of an explanation.”
Since the episode aired Lauren has slammed her husband Matthew in an epic social media rant after he publicly embarrassed her.
The makeup artist responded to a comment made on one of her posts and claimed Matthew was not ‘capable of feelings’.
In the lengthy post, Lauren responded: “Unfortunately he’s not capable of feelings Tarz. Since day one it was all about him,” she began.
“I was nothing but supportive and caring of him. This entire story was @mattybgratefuls story. I’m sick of the excuses,” she added.
“It’s completely unfair. Apparently, I don’t matter… What can ya do.”
