It seems like Jennifer Aniston’s hopes for a ‘happily ever after’ with her second marriage have come to nothing, with reports out of the US today that her union with actor Justin Theroux is allegedly ‘over’.
According to a bombshell report in top-selling American magazine In Touch, the actress is struggling to cope with the reality that her marriage has ‘crumbled’ two years after the couple walked down the aisle. It was supposed to be second time lucky for Jen, whose marriage to Brad Pitt infamously imploded after he fell for Angelina Jolie.
‘Justin left Jen three months ago when he went off to shoot the film On The Basis of Sex in Montreal and work on the Netflix series Maniac in New York,’ a friend told In Touch.
‘He’s been living primarily at his apartment in Greenwich Village.’
A separate source reportedly told the publication, ‘It’s over’.
The publication’s sources blame frictions on the couple’s ‘vastly different lifestyles, Justin’s desire to have a baby and Jen’s jealousy.’
‘Although they have put up a good façade of being a happily married couple, the opposite is true,’ a friend is said to have told the publication.
It seems that Jen is having trouble facing up to her situation, and is not yet ready to admit what is happening.
‘Brad broke her heart,’ says In Touch’s source. ‘She can’t take another failed marriage.’
Jennifer and Justin, who have in the past dismissed reports of marital trouble, and who have always maintained they are happy together, have yet to respond to In Touch’s newly published claims.
