What's in the box
The Elite 65t arrive in a simple grey box with Jabra's signature yellow that slides open to reveal two small earbuds, a small black charging case, and three sets of rubber ear-tips. A micro USB charging cable and a small user guide to get you up to speed on the various features is also included.
Setup
Setting up the Elite 65t is quick and painless. With simple written instructions provided, as well as preprepared voice command instructions, Jabra make this experience seamless. Simply put the earbuds in your ears, and press and hold the left button on the left earbud and the button on the right bud for three seconds. From there, listen to and follow the instructions provided. The headphones come charged too, so setting up your headphones straight out of the box means you are ready to get connected faster.
Mobile App
Along with easy setup, Jabra provides an app that can monitor your heart rate, personalise experiences and track your movements. The app also provides you with easy to access settings, updates, battery charge info, firmware updates and more. Plus, the app is compatible with other popular fitness apps, giving you the option to continue with your preferred workout tracking.
Fit
At first glance, the Elite 65t look quite bulky, but actually sit seamlessly in your ears. I did however, find these headphones quite jarring to put in the first time around. Featuring an in-ear form factor that provides noise-cancelling, Jabra's Elite 65t take quite a bit of getting used to if you've previously been using lighter fits.
Wireless
The bluetooth set, which feature four microphone technology, provides ultimate call and voice quality. The innovative technology aims to give users effective wind noise reduction, which was evident when using the 65t headset. Plus, in true wireless form, answering calls with a simple voice command meant a truly hands-free experience.
The only thing I found a little irritating in the wireless experience was that Jabra's Elite 65t are dependent on the right earbud. Meaning, if you take that right earbud off for whatever reason, all features stop.
'Waterproof'
When reading up on the tech specs of this bluetooth set, one of the key features that stood out on the page was waterproof. Jabra claims the Elite 65t are sweat resistant even under extreme workouts, with a 2-year warranty provided on damages from sweat and dust (once you've registered online).
Battery
One of the best features of the Jabra Elite 65t is the incredible battery life, which truly go above and beyond other wireless headsets I've used. With up to 5 hours of battery life from a single charge, and up to 15 hours in total with the pocket-friendly charging case included, your listening needs are met from the start of the day right to the end - and more.
