GreazeFest

Where: Redland Showgrounds, Long Street, Cleveland
Australia’s longest-running hot rod and rockability festival GreazeFest is coming to Cleveland this August for three days of hot rods, customs and classics, plus vintage fashions, market stalls, art displays, automobilia, amazing rockabilly gear, live bands and DJs, and of course, a huge dance floor. The opening times are as follows:
- Friday, August 2 – 7pm to midnight
- Saturday, August 3 – Day Events – 10am to 5pm
- Saturday, August 3 – Night Events – 5pm to 10pm
- Sunday, August 4 – 9am to 6pm

Limbo – The Return

Limbo – The Return is a circus-cabaret extravaganza, which has captivated audiences across 17 countries, even catching the attention of none other than MADONNA, who attended the show twice before asking the director to work on her world tour. Now, this sensational production is coming to Brisbane!

Mount Isa Rodeo Festival
August 3 to 11
Where: Buchanan Park Events Complex
The Mount Isa Rodeo Festival is Australia’s longest-running and largest Rodeo in the Southern Hemisphere. For three days in August, you will be able to indulge in an action-packed schedule with rodeo, rock music and rodeo entertainment. Brisbane’s Shank Brothers BBQ will be returning to the Festival this year with their scorching hot sauces, renowned Hot Wing Challenge, and Australia’s exclusive Rib Wrecker Challenge. Dining in the Dark: A Unique Blindfolded Dining Experience at C’est Bon

Where: C’est Bon Restaurant & Le Bon Bar, Woolloongabba
Have you ever eaten a meal blindfolded? Well, this unique dining experience is the perfect time to give it a go. Intended to heighten your sense of taste and smell, the blindfold pushes you into a realm of sensory delight as you eat your meal – don’t knock it until you try it! Tickets are $120 per person and includes a three-course meal (meat, seafood, and vegetarian options available) as well as a welcome drink upon entry.

Coffee company Piazza D’Oro has started a new initiative to support small business café owners by commissioning local artists across Australia. To celebrate a new mural by Brisbane artist Kiel Tillman, Laneway Bagels is offering a buy one, get one free breakfast item or bagel from August 1 to 15. The artwork will be visible from August 1 at Gerard’s Lane, 7/19 James Street. Check it out and snag a free brekky!
