But while the fairytale nuptials go off without a hitch for one of TV’s favourite couples, there’s every chance the honeymoon may be over before it’s even begun.
After all, this is Summer Bay. And, as we all know, heart-pounding drama is always on the agenda in the tiny coastal town!
Earlier in the week, with the biggest day of her life almost upon her, Jasmine is feeling a little anxious over the final plans.
“Robbo’s absolutely useless when it comes to helping out, while poor Jas is organising everything,” says Jake, adding with a laugh: “I’m sure I’d be completely like that – one hundred per cent! I’d just be like, ‘Tell me where and when I’ve got to turn up!’ ”
However, we soon see that ticking off all the boxes on her to-do list is not what’s really causing the young nurse stress.
“Jasmine really is such a down-to-earth kind of girl, so she’s really not a bridezilla,” says Sam. “For her, it’s not about the dress, the ring or where she gets married, it’s about marrying Robbo – but there is something on her mind.”

Later, Irene (Lynne McGranger) is shocked to find Jasmine in tears. While Jasmine makes it clear to Irene that she couldn’t be more ready to marry the man she loves, she reveals the reason she’s feeling so down – she can’t help but feel sad that she will have no family of her own at her wedding.
“I think it’s always huge milestone moments like this that are a reminder of friends and family,” reflects Sam. “Jasmine is now struck by the fact that she won’t have anyone from her family walking her down the aisle, or anyone there from her old life. That’s a really isolating and sad feeling.”
Indeed, when Colby (Tim Franklin) surprises Robbo and Jasmine with a pre-wedding party, Robbo also picks up on the fact that his bride-to-be is not her usual bubbly self.
“Robbo really tries to alleviate the anxiety that Jasmine has about not having her own family at the wedding by reassuring her that he’s her family now,” says Sam. “Jasmine knows, too, that she has Robbo, Irene and Willow [Sarah Roberts] – and that really means a lot to her.”
But is Robbo asking for trouble when he offers to track down Jasmine’s long-estranged father for her?
“Robbo adores Jasmine and will do anything he can for her,” says Jake.
Now, it’s not long before the couple’s wedding day arrives. And the excitement is palpable!
“Jasmine and Robbo have been waiting for this day for such a long time,” says Jake.
As for Jasmine, she’s doing her best to keep her nerves in check. However, she can’t help but feel unsettled when she accidentally crosses paths with Robbo on her morning run. As she says moments later to Irene, it’s bad luck for a bride to see the groom just before the wedding. Irene, however, is quick to reassure Jasmine nothing will go wrong now.
Indeed, before long, the ceremony is underway. Emotions of the best kind run high as Jasmine, truly stunning as a bride, walks down the aisle to a beaming Robbo.
“Jasmine loves Robbo so much and can’t wait to confirm this lifelong commitment to him,” says Sam.
“And everything goes perfectly to plan,” adds Jake.
However, as the madly-in-love couple are exchanging vows, we see that Robbo’s long-time federal police friend Lance (former Packed to the Rafters’ star Angus McLaren) has received a phone call that has left him looking deeply troubled.
