And regular cast member Jake Ryan, who plays the couple’s son Robbo, has a confession to make – he was a little star-stuck when introduced to the pair on set.

“They’re people you watched growing up as a kid,” he says. “Everyone knows Frankie J. Holden and Amanda. The scenes were a hoot to film.”

Having previously appeared in gripping Prisoner reimagining Wentworth, Jake also had something in common with Amanda, who starred in the iconic original series.

“We kind of worked on the same show, but in different eras of it,” he says, adding:  “So we spoke about that.”

And Jake is hopeful Amanda and Frankie might extend their stay in the Bay.

“They’re both just great, such lovely people – I wish they were here full-time,” he says, adding, “And it is Summer Bay, so you never know what could happen.”
