Married at First Sight groom David Momoh has claimed an injury prevented him from being able to be himself on the show.
Speaking to the Daily Mail, the 31-year-old claims that “ninety per cent” of his personality “was not aired”.
“I had a knee injury and was on antibiotics for two months during filming. My body, my everything, was out-of-whack. I wasn’t feeling my best,’ David revealed.
“It sucks because it happened right at the honeymoon, so our whole experience was s***ty because of that,” he added.
The reality star goes on to say that it “affected” his personality and “dimmed” his vibe.

“My knee wouldn’t stop bleeding the whole time,” he confessed.
“I was a mute on the show. I am not one in real life, where I am a vibe. I had to keep putting Band-Aids on my knee, so I didn’t bleed through my suit pants. It was the roughest time,” he added.
David told the publication that he wasn’t able to exercise or train, and that the antibiotics “messed” him up.
He also said that the pain he was in impacted his relationship with on-screen wife Alissa, 33.
“When the injury initially happened, she was so there for me, she helped me a lot, took care of me. But as things progressed, she got frustrated,” he said.

Are David and Alissa still together?
Alissa and David are no longer together after their very dramatic on-screen split.
Our sister publication Woman’s Day reported that Alissa has been spotted with Ninja Warrior star Nathan Ryles multiple times, looking very close.
“She’s besotted with him,” a source told the publication.
“She’s even calling him her soulmate. It’s the worst-kept secret in Adelaide.”
Whilst on the show, Alissa and David went from strength to strength as a couple – but cracks unexpectedly began to form late in the experiment.

Alissa started to let her doubts overwhelm their relationship, while David began to feel drained emotionally supporting his wife.
And things finally came to a head between the couple after the controversial final task before Final Vows, which saw the brides and grooms meet their other matches.
On Tuesday, March 31, their partners then watched back their “dates”, with David being left devastated by Alissa’s behaviour.
