Congratulations are in order for MAFS couple Johnny Balbuziente and Kerry Balbuziente (née Knight), who have welcomed their first child together! A beautiful baby girl.
The besotted parents announced the news via Instagram over the weekend, sharing a black-and-white photo of mum and bub from hospital.
“Introducing… Chloe Rossi Balbuziente 💛,” the caption read.
“Born 14th June 2024. Mum and Chloe are doing great and Dad is proud beyond measure.
“Love my girls so much!”
Johnny and Kerry revealed that they were expecting their first child in January 2024.
Taking to Instagram at the time, the MAFS stars shared a photo of Kerry’s burgeoning bump with the caption: “Baby B incoming, June 2024.”
It continued: “Thrilled to be adding a much wanted and already so-loved member to our family.
“Our journey took a bit longer than we’d hoped for but not as long as others. Thinking of everyone still on their path.”
Kerry and Johnny met on season eight of Married At First Sight in 2021 and remain one of the few couples still together.
They entered the experiment later than the other couples but instantly hit it off, committing to each other in the final vows.
Seven months after they met at the altar, Kerry’s parents flew to Brisbane to meet Johnny’s parents.
It was then that they found out that their dads not only share the same name, but grew up in the same neighbourhood in Melbourne and attended the same high school at the same time.
A year after their MAFS experience, Kerry reflected on their journey via Instagram.
“We made vows that day to look after each other, to be team mates and we’ve never looked back,” she wrote.
“Only you and I will ever know how deep those promises have run and how much we’ve been through together.
“Back then, I had no idea what the future would hold and now I can’t see one without you in it.”
Johnny popped the question (for real) in July 2022, and they tied the knot in January 2023.
Sharing gorgeous photos of the special day, the newlyweds wrote: “Best day of my life. I married the love of my life.
“Honey and the Bee – you and me.”
Now, the MAFS couple are proud parents. Congratulations to Kerry and Johnny!
