Sticks, aka Mark Croker, became a father for the second time during The Block.
Leaving his mate Wombat behind to finish off the painting for one of their rooms, Sticks managed to get home to wife Terri in time to welcome their new bundle of joy.
‘I wasn’t expecting to go back for it at all,’ he explains.
‘It was an honour to go back, because the whole time I had the mindset I wasn’t going to be able to be there for it.
‘For our first baby, Kanoa, she was induced, so she went from nothing, to all hell breaking loose and he [their firstborn son, now 15 months] was here! [But this time] it’s lucky I made it in time.’
Sticks reveals how he met his loving wife.
‘I saw her one night out and I thought she was all right and I asked her to have a dance. The next week, I show up and there’s this chick looking at me smiling and I didn’t recognise her! From there it was love.’
