Despite being eliminated on Monday night’s Australian Survivor, Luke Toki has a lot to be grateful for.
The father-of-three cemented himself as a fan favourite, so much so that a GoFundMe page was set up by Survivor superfan Dave Skow.
Since then, almost $500,00 has been raised by viewers for the Survivor contestant – the same amount as the cash prize for the winner of Australian Survivor 2019.

Since joining Australian Survivor, Luke has been open about wanting to use the $500,000 prize money to help his three children.
His two sons, Lennox and Nate, are on the autism spectrum and his daughter Madeline has cystic fibrosis.
Madeline was also born with intestinal atresia (a blockage or obstruction in the intestine) and had to undergo two separate surgeries within days of being born.
Appearing on The Project last night, Luke thanked Survivor fans for their donations.
“It’s extremely humbling,” he told the hosts, before saying: “Much love to everyone that’s donated.”
According to The Daily Mail, the GoFundMe page founder Dave has contacted Luke’s wife Mary to assure fans that all the money raised will go directly to Luke and his family.
“With two young sons with autism and a baby girl with cystic fibrosis, $500k would be a life changing amount for the Tokis,” Dave wrote in the GoFundMe’s description.
“Whilst Luke stumbled near the finish line and was voted out in the top four, true Survivor fans will recognise that he is the greatest Australian player ever to grace our screens.
“So let’s rally behind this Aussie legend and change this awesome young family’s life.”
