She may have been spotted out with her new man, but Alex Nation is far from making a clean break from her ex Maegan Luxa.
In the midst of a very bitter break-up, the pair are locked in a custody dispute over Alex’s dog.
Forced to share ownership of the pooch in a bid to keep things amicable, Alex is ‘playing nice’.
But friends say she is furious about the arrangement.
‘She had that dog way before Maegan came along,’ says a friend. ‘And now she feels the situation is being used to bring them back together.
Maegan has not taken the break-up well, even though they split in February.’
Insisting she has grown close to their ‘fur baby’ since they went public with their relationship last August, Maegan has said she’ll do anything to keep him.
‘Maegan is more of a homebody and has a house that’s better suited to dogs.’
Alex has also had to ask Maegan to lay off social media.
‘She kept posting heaps of photos of Alex’s son after they had moved out, and it was really annoying his dad,’ says the friend.
Ready for a fresh start, Alex was seen out and about with her Defence Force rifleman boyfriend Dwayne Anderson last Sunday.
