A lucky Melbourne woman has managed to complete her Christmas shopping simply by entering competitions.
Seasoned TV quiz show contestant Anthia Galanis, 50, has won a plethora of prizes for all her family from Catch Live, which tests your quiz show trivia knowledge.
Her prizes include a Kitchen Aid, AirPods, a Google Home and an Instax camera and Anthia is simply delighted with her bounty.
“What a great way to flex my quiz show muscle (what a nerd!) and catch a few great deals along the way – I am hooked!”
Anthia appears to have winning in the blood having appeared on Sale of the the Century, The Weakest Link, Temptation, Millionaire Hot Seat, Million Dollar Minute and The Chase Australia.
“Growing up we used to watch Sale of the Century as a family – my brother got sick of me playing from home so he got me an audition and the rest is history. I think I will be doing this until the day I die – I love getting the answer right. Go figure,” she adds.
“Things have changed over the course of my quarter century of quiz show appearances – I love to compete and get the answers right. And I hate to lose!
“The prizes along the way have been fantastic too – not too many people can claim almost $100k in cash and prizes! And I have heaps of fun and brought lots of joy to my friends and family.”

2009 – Millionaires Hot Seat – hanging out with Eddie and the crew was fun until it wasn’t – I answered two question correctly and then bombed out on the third – watched last woman standing answer one simple question and win $100K – you win some, you lose some

2018 – The Chase Australia – won my round against “The Beast” Mark Labbett – who I have a little crush on – and then me and my two other quizzers left standing in the final round bombed out and didn’t take home any of the loot we’d won in the earlier rounds
