Australian entertainer Todd McKenney has shocked fans by sharing a photograph of himself hooked up to machines in hospital.

The TV and stage star, 54, is in hospital for hip replacement surgery after he posted a revealing snap to his Instagram on Thursday.
“#gotmynewhip, #icancancan,” the dancer captioned the photo, where he is seen looking tired and weary in a hospital bed holding a tub of jelly beans, and wearing a nasal cannula.
Celebrities and fans of the star were quick to post their well wishes and get well messages on his Instagram account.
“Rest up buddy,” said actor and AGT judge Shane Jacobson.

Fans are wishing Todd a speedy recovery ahead of his latest TV show All New Monty, where he has choreographed dance routines for stars such as Matty J and George Burgess.
