They’ve denied rumours of a split for months, but last week Kyle Sandilands revealed that he and long-time girlfriend Imogen Anthony have gone their separate ways.

As reported in New Idea several months ago, the couple had been drifting apart for some time despite being together for eight years.
A source claims the reason for their split was largely due to Kyle’s reluctance to make a commitment.
“Imogen has desperately wanted to get married and have kids for quite some time now but unfortunately Kyle wasn’t ready,” a source tells New Idea.
“Kyle has issues from his past that he speaks about openly but keeps people at a distance, especially since his first marriage to Tamara [Jaber].”
The source further claims the couple didn’t spend much time together and effectively lived ‘separate lives’.
“They would usually do their own thing,” the insider claims. “Kyle would always be out, and Imogen wouldn’t hear from him – and vice versa.”
Kyle stunned listeners on his popular KIIS FM radio program, The Kyle and Jackie O Show, when he made the shock announcement that he and Imogen had split. “We haven’t been with each other for quite a few months now. Unfortunately, it’s run its course. That’s just the way it is.”
In July, a source told New Idea that the couple had “been living separate lives for a while” and would soon announce their split. Kyle and Imogen both denied this claim at the time.
