Wedding planning is in “full swing” for Jules Robinson and Cameron Merchant after the pair met on Nine’s controversial reality hit, Married At First Sight.

The fan-favourites have been “in planning mode over the past few weeks” for their big day with the businesswoman choosing her dress two weeks ago.

And while they admitted that “half” of their MAFS co-stars will be in attendance, including Heidi Latcham and Melissa Lucarelli as Jules’ bridesmaids, “half” will not.

Speaking to New Idea on the red carpet of the Lion King in Sydney on Tuesday night, they confirmed that Martha Kalifatidis and Jess Power are not on their guestlist.

But despite Martha not making the cut, Jules continued to defend her against allegations made by the Seven’s Sunrise team that she assaulted them at this year’s Logies.

“Of course it isn’t true,” Jules said.

“It was absolutely not true, she would not do that.”

Martha was embroiled in a bitter scandal with Sunrise hosts Samantha Armytage and David Koch following an awkward run-in at the Logies.

The makeup artist and Kim Kasrdashian West lookalike was discussed at length on an episode of Sunrise, following Kochie’s claims that Martha elbowed him in the ribs while desperately fighting to get her face in front of the camera while posing on the red carpet.

Martha has denied the accusations and labelled the TV stars “bullies”.

“Sam continued to make fun of me, a woman in the industry that I’m meant to look up to,” said Martha, who’s still dating her on-screen “husband” Michael Brunelli..

“Sam, you have single handedly incited online hate towards me. Just when I had built myself back up after the tumultuous time on MAFS, you brought it all crashing down.

Kochie, you are a father, yet you felt it necessary to shame me on TV. You felt it was OK to criticise me, call me short and turn what may have been an accidental bump on the arm into something scandalous. You’re the bullies!”
