T Swift promised fans a live stream on her Instagram story at 5pm ET to share some exciting news, but less than two minutes into said broadcast – the platform suddenly crashed worldwide.

The Bad Blood hitmaker’s PR manager Tree Paine was quick off the mark, taking to Twitter to suggest the singer was behind the glitch.
Ms Paine tweeted: “When you’re pretty sure your boss broke Instagram.”
Instagram went down across Australia early Friday morning, with users unable to refresh feeds and direct messages failing to load.
