Selena Gomez’s mother, Mandy Teefey, has spoken out against Justin Bieber in a new interview.
Teefey admitted that she is ‘not happy’ her 25-year-old daughter has reunited with old flame Justine during an interview with Gossip Cop.
She also revealed that she has not spoken to the Sorry singer in ‘years’.
But despite Teefey’s feelings about her daughter’s decision to give her on-again off-again ex another chance, she told Gossip Cop she knows Gomez is old enough to ‘make her own choices.’
‘Selena can live her life however she wants as long as she is happy, safe and healthy,’ she said.
‘She is 25-years old and knows what is at stake with her health,’ she continued, adding that Gomez ‘is an adult and can make her own choices.’
This isn’t the first time issues have arisen between Teefey and Bieber.
An insider confirmed that in December the 41-year-old had been sent to hospital following an altercation with her daughter over her newfound romance.
‘It’s been a stressful time for Mandy and she made the decision herself to go to the hospital and make sure everything was okay,’ a source close to the family revealed at the time.
