Sarah Jessica Parker was spotted without her wedding ring on May 10 at a discussion at the Wall Street Journal in New York City, and Star magazine has claimed the Sex And The City alum and her husband Matthew Broderick are considering calling it quits.
Star’s relationship expert, Susan Constantine, claims, ‘It’s very uncommon for a woman to take off her wedding band, because the ring sends a signal that she’s off the market.
‘If you think about it, when you’re removing your wedding ring, you’re removing your connection.’
Earlier this year, the 53-year-old actress revealed that her husband ‘annoyed’ her and they are better off spending time apart.
‘I know this sounds nuts, but we have lives that allow us to be away and come back together,’ she admitted.
‘His work life takes him here and mine takes me there,’ Parker added, ‘In some ways, I think that’s been enormously beneficial.’
A source claims to Star that the couple’s 21-year marriage could be on the rocks as a result of the couple’s constant separation.
‘Sarah and Matthew have been living separate lives for some time now,’ a source spills to the publication, adding that the Hollywood couple even have separate homes.
‘It could be a sign that they won’t last much longer.’
Sarah and Matthew share three children – James Broderick, 15, and twin girls, Marion and Tabitha Broderick, 8.
Neither Sarah or Matthew have responded to Star’s report.
