In an interview with Vogue, the Duchess of York, says the past few months have been “incredibly difficult”.

She revealed: “When I talk about Prince Andrew, I talk about family because the last six months have been hard on the girls and me.

“To see such a wonderful man go through such enormous pain. He is the best man I know.

“It’s just incredible what he has done for Britain, and it’s all nonsense, so I talk about familyhood, and I’m very strong about it. The mental health of men is important and I think it is vital to articulate that more.”

A report back in November claims that Fergie is feeling the pressure to distance herself after details of the Duke of York’s friendship with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein emerged.

“She has been shocked by the details of his friendship with Epstein and knows the scandal isn’t going away,” says the insider.

“Sarah has always supported him, but she has told friends she is disgusted by his behaviour.”

The 59-year-old Duke continues to vehemently deny his involvement in the under-age sex trafficking ring. However new damaging details have been revealed by alleged victim Virginia Roberts Giuffre regarding the extent of Prince Andrew’s participation.

Despite divorcing more than two decades ago, the Duke and Duchess of York have remained close. “We are bigger than friends,” Fergie, 60, previously told Hello! magazine.
