Rugby League star Johnathan Thurston and wife Samantha Lynch have welcomed their fourth child.
The happy parents took to Instagram on Monday to announce the happy news and share a series of photos.
‘Introducing Remie Lee Thurston born at 8:36am, weighing 7pound 5 ounces. ‘We are all totally besotted & feeling very blessed.’
Remie is the couple’s fourth child who came after a series of fertility struggles for the pair.
‘She offered to leave me after our third attempt at IVF failed. I just told her I loved her and I would never leave her, even if I would never be a dad,’ Thurston told the Daily Telegraph.
‘My heart broke for her,’ Thurston added.
‘There is no way we were expecting this. All three of my girls were born through IVF and this happened naturally,’ he said.
