Roseanne Barr’s longtime partner, Johnny Argent, has called off the couple’s wedding, Star magazine reports.
A source explosively tells the publication, ‘Roseanne has gone so far as to propose to Johnny herself on a few ocassions.
‘But he just laughs it off, saying why would a pair of senior citizens need to get married?’
Roseanne and Johnny met in 2002, shortly after she divorced her third husband, Ben Thomas, when he was hired to write a blog for her.
The couple began dating a year later and have been inseparable ever since.
‘Johnny is deeply concerned about Roseanne’s mental health,’ a source spilled to Star.
‘Between the Twitter scandal and the show’s cancellation, he fears she could suffer a breakdown.
‘He’s doing everything he can to be a supportive shoulder to cry on, but he has no intention of marrying Roseanne – now or ever!’
Neither Roseanne or Johnny have responded to Star’s report.
